You run, shoot, jump and dash through an underwater research facility while picking up weapons to push back against a mysterious invader. The game leans on precise platforming. It was developed by Sunna Entertainment, a studio from Costa Rica, and published by Balor Games in February 2023 for Windows and Mac.
Planet Nomads is a 2019 science fiction sandbox game from Czech studio Craneballs. A first-person shooter from Polish studio Buckshot Software, Project Warlock was released in 2018 and published by Gaming Company. Its most remarkable story is its creator: Jakub Cislo built the game at the age of 18 while still attending high school. The game holds a Metacritic score of 78, and it was followed by Project Warlock II, which entered early access in 2022 and saw a full release in 2025.
Project Wingman is a combat flight-action game set on an alternate Earth, where a silent mercenary pilot flies for United Cascadia in its war for independence from the Pacific Federation. Alongside the story campaign, a roguelike Conquest mode has you capture territory, buy aircraft and hire support while enemy resistance grows. Set in a satirical cyberpunk take on early 21st-century Europe in which Wilhelm Reich's ideas are scientifically proven, it casts the player as a member of an elite, mech-equipped police task force. The job is to investigate and eliminate psychohazards that threaten public minds and state security.
Q.U.B.E. is a first-person puzzle game in which the player wears gloves that manipulate specially coloured blocks, using them to open a route to the exit of each level. Its stark, white environments make the interactive blocks stand out, and it has drawn comparisons with Portal. Toxic Games in the United Kingdom grew it from a student project with backing from Indie Fund, and this Director's Cut runs on Unreal Engine 3.
Quantum League is a competitive online first-person shooter from Argentina's Nimble Giant Entertainment, released on Windows in 2021. Matches take place inside a repeating time loop, so each round you fight alongside recordings of your own earlier and later actions. Games are played as one-on-one or two-on-two duels, which rewards planning where your past selves will stand. Steam tags it as action, sports and strategy.

Raft is a survival sandbox game that starts players on a tiny floating platform in an endless ocean, surrounded by sharks. Using a hook to pull in drifting debris, they expand the raft into a base, craft tools and keep hunger and thirst in check, alone or with friends. A radio receiver leads to story islands with a narrative about rescuing prisoners. Swedish studio Redbeet Interactive began it as a university student project and released the full version in 2022.
Rage in Peace is a side-scrolling platformer with an unusual goal: dodging the traps and obstacles in your path so that your character can die peacefully. Each stage tests your timing against hazards on the way. It was developed by Rolling Glory Jam, an independent studio in Indonesia, and published by Toge Productions, launching on Steam and Nintendo Switch on 8 November 2018. Steam lists it as action and adventure.
