Orwell: Keeping an Eye On You is an episodic simulation game that puts you in the seat of a government operative. Your job is to sift through surveillance material and personal data to identify people who might threaten national security, deciding what information to pass on. It was created by the indie developer Osmotic Studios in Germany and published by Daedalic Entertainment, with its release on Windows, macOS and Linux in 2016.
Out of Space is a cooperative multiplayer game that combines survival with strategy, and it is also classed as a party game with real-time strategy elements. It comes from Brazilian team Behold Studios, the developers behind Chroma Squad. The game launched on Steam for Windows, macOS and Linux in February 2020, and a Couch Edition later came to Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2020.
Out There Somewhere is a puzzle platformer about a spaceman stranded on an alien world who uses a portal gun to get around obstacles. His aim is to escape the planet while confronting a malevolent force called Grigori. The game was made by Pedro Medeiros and Amora Bettany under the name MiniBoss in Brazil, built with GameMaker, first released in 2012 and brought to Steam in March 2016.
Outlast is a first-person psychological survival horror game from Canadian independent studio Red Barrels, released in 2013 and built on Unreal Engine 3. Players follow freelance journalist Miles Upshur as he investigates Mount Massive Asylum, an isolated psychiatric hospital in the mountains of Colorado. Critics responded well to its atmosphere and horror, and the series later grew with a sequel, a prequel and comics.
Outlast 2 is a first-person psychological survival horror game released in 2017 by Canadian studio Red Barrels, made in Unreal Engine 3 as the sequel to Outlast. Cameraman Blake Langermann and his journalist wife Lynn investigate a murder in northern Arizona, until a helicopter crash separates them. Blake must then search for Lynn through a village run by a deranged cult convinced that Judgement Day has arrived.
Overcooked is a cooking sim from UK studio Ghost Town Games, published by Team17 and released in August 2016. Local co-op players take charge of chefs in hazard-strewn kitchens, racing the clock to prepare meals that match incoming orders. At the 13th BAFTA Games Awards it took home two prizes, Best Family Game and Best British Game, and a sequel arrived in 2018, later bundled with the original as All You Can Eat.

Overcooked! 2 is a cooperative cooking sim from UK developers Ghost Town Games and Team17, with Team17 handling publishing. A sequel to the original Overcooked, it launched in August 2018 on Windows, macOS, Linux and several consoles. Its focus is shared play in the kitchen, with friends cooking together as a team, and it was later bundled with the first game in the Overcooked: All You Can Eat compilation.
Oxygen Not Included is a survival simulation game developed and self-published by Canadian studio Klei Entertainment. It blends the survival and simulation genres, and Steam files it as an indie simulation title. The game spent a long stretch in Steam early access starting in February 2017 before reaching its full launch in July 2019, and it holds a Metacritic score of 85 on the platforms it covers.
Paleo Pines is a life simulation game in which you work as a rancher at a dinosaur sanctuary. Days are spent looking after the creatures and building friendships with the people of the nearby town. It was made by independent studio Italic Pig in Ireland and released on 26 September 2023 for Windows, Linux and a range of consoles. Its Steam listing combines simulation, RPG and adventure tags with a casual, easygoing pace.
Palworld is a monster-taming survival game set in an open world full of creatures called Pals, which players fight and capture, then put to work in combat, traversal and base building. Pals can staff player bases and handle jobs automatically, and up to 32 people can share one server. Japanese developer Pocketpair created and self-published it, launching in early access in January 2024 before reaching full release in 2026.
Partisans 1941 is a real-time tactics game about Soviet partisan fighters resisting the German invasion during the Second World War. Players direct a squad through its missions, and its genre listings point to strategy with survival and tactical role-playing elements woven in. It was developed by Alter Games in Russia on Unreal Engine 4 with Daedalic Entertainment handling publishing in 2020.
Party Animals is a multiplayer party game built around physics-based brawling, developed by Chinese studio Recreate Games, with Source Technology publishing. It released in September 2023 on Windows and both Xbox One and Series X/S, with a PlayStation 5 port following in January 2025. The game runs on Unity and is listed on Steam as a casual indie action title designed for playing with others.
Party Hard casts the player as a serial killer who slips into a series of parties with one goal: eliminate every guest without being caught. Each level becomes a stealth puzzle of picking the right moment to strike and making sure nobody sees what happened. The game was developed by the Ukrainian team Pinokl Games alongside Kverta, published by tinyBuild, and released in 2015 for Windows, OS X and Linux, with later console versions.
Viewed from an isometric perspective, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a role-playing game adapted from Paizo's Pathfinder tabletop franchise. Pax Nova is a science fiction 4X strategy game played in turns. Players guide one of several factions spread across three races, charting unknown planets and star systems, founding cities, extending their influence and fighting battles both on the ground and in space. It was developed by GreyWolf Entertainment, a studio from Portugal, published by Iceberg Interactive, and released for Windows in April 2020.

Jobs involve diagnosing faults, swapping hardware and building custom rigs from licensed parts made by real brands. Romanian developer Claudiu Kiss began it as a solo project before The Irregular Corporation joined in 2017; it entered early access in 2018 and fully released on Windows in 2019.
Per Aspera is a city-building simulation about turning Mars into a world humans can live on. You play as AMI, an artificial intelligence tasked with terraforming the red planet so that colonists can eventually settle there, balancing construction and planetary change as a strategy challenge. It was made by the Argentine studio Tlön Industries, published by Raw Fury, and released for Windows in December 2020.
Perfect Gold is a brief yuri visual novel with a coming-of-age story following Marion LaRue and Audrey Clary. The two explore a magical city called Castlecoast while being given another chance at friendship and romance, with the player reading through their story. It was made and published by Yangyang Mobile, a developer based in the Philippines, and released in April 2021 for Windows and macOS.
Perpetuum is a science fiction MMORPG with a player-driven persistent world, where everyone pilots customisable robots across islands linked by teleports. Some islands are protected from player attacks while others allow open PvP, and activities range from mining and manufacturing to trading, artifact hunting, and combat. Hungarian developer Avatar Creations launched it in 2010 and brought it to Steam in 2014; its servers closed in January 2018 and the server code was open sourced.
Phasmophobia is a cooperative paranormal horror game from Kinetic Games, a British indie studio based in Southampton, launched in early access on Windows in September 2020 with virtual reality support. Teams of one to four ghost hunters take on contracts at haunted locations, working out which type of ghost is present while tackling optional objectives. The game surged in popularity after streamers and YouTubers picked it up in October 2020, and critics praised how inventive it felt.
Pico Park is a cooperative action-puzzle game with three modes: World, where progress comes from solving puzzles together, Endless, which is about chasing a high score, and Battle, which turns teammates into rivals. Japanese developer TECOPARK first released it on Windows in 2016 with local play and added online multiplayer in 2021. It won the Best Presentation award at Sense of Wonder Night 2014.
Pilgrims is a graphic adventure made and self-published by Czech studio Amanita Design. It is classed as a point-and-click puzzle adventure with an art-game sensibility, offering relaxed, casual play rather than action. Released in October 2019 for Windows, macOS, Linux and Apple Arcade, it was among the earliest games offered through Apple Arcade and later came to Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
Starring Pippit of the influential Pipistrello family, Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo plays as a platform-adventure with a Game Boy Advance feel. After rivals attack his aunt, her soul is split and locked in mega-batteries, so Pippit uses a cursed yoyo holding the last fragment to recover them. Its design particularly recalls The Legend of Zelda. Brazilian studio Pocket Trap developed it, and it launched in May 2025 with PM Studios as publisher.
Piposh is an episodic point-and-click comedy adventure that reboots a series Israeli studio Guillotine originally produced between 1999 and 2003. Players follow the misadventures of Hezi Piposh, a failed actor chasing a lead role in a film, exploring locations, picking up items, and talking with characters to move the story on. Initially planned in several parts, it was completed as a single release in 2021.
