Ink Physics — Draw to Solve
by PuzzleIndiesandboxbrain-teaser
About this game
Ink Physics is a drawing puzzle game. Whatever you draw becomes a real rigid
body — it has weight, it falls, it leans, it wedges, it carries load. Your job
is to get the red ball where it needs to go: into the marked goal, touching its
partner, held above a line, or through every star. There is exactly one red
thing on screen and one red place it belongs, so you never have to be told what
the level wants.
Every level poses a different mechanical question — a ramp, a span, a cradle, a
lever, a chock, a bank shot — and the three puzzle kinds are interleaved rather
than blocked, so you are never solving the same puzzle twice.
The board is an engineer's sketchbook: warm paper, graph ruling, structures
drawn as hatched sections, your ink laid down in iron-gall blue-black. **Build** levels give you a budget and
let you solve them your way. **One stroke** levels demand the entire solution in
a single unbroken line. **Ricochet** levels launch a ball on its own and leave
you to route it, sometimes with a minimum number of bounces off your own ink.
The simulation is deterministic by design: the whole run is computed the moment
you press Run, then played back to you. A solution that works, works every time —
never a lucky roll. When one doesn't, drag the timeline to wind the failure back
and see exactly which part gave way, in slow motion if you like.
Score is the ink you spent, measured against par, so there is always a tidier
answer than the one that just worked. No ads, no timers, no energy, no lives.
Plays in the browser, works on touch and mouse, in English and Arabic.
