CloverPit is a roguelite with a psychological horror edge, in which the player must work down a steadily growing debt by gambling on a slot machine. Each run pushes the stakes higher as repayment becomes harder to meet. It was made by Panik Arcade, a studio from Italy, and published by Future Friends Games, launching on Steam on September 26, 2025. According to its Wikipedia entry, it has since passed one million copies sold.
Cocoon is a 2023 puzzle adventure from Danish studio Geometric Interactive, published by Annapurna Interactive. Players control a beetle able to hop between worlds, solving puzzles as they uncover the mysteries of its universe. It launched in September 2023 on Windows as well as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and critics received it generally positively, with a Metacritic score of 88.
Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly is a visual novel and the sequel to Coffee Talk, continuing the series' focus on conversation and café life. It was developed and published by Toge Productions, a studio in Indonesia, and released in April 2023. It started out as planned downloadable content for the first game, but its story and gameplay grew enough that the team made it a standalone release. It came shortly after the death of series creator Mohammad Fahmi.

Coffee Talk Tokyo is a visual novel spin-off that moves the series from Seattle to Tokyo in 2026. You run a cafe late at night, serving humans and yokai who share their stories and work through their conflicts in conversation, with topics such as overwork culture woven in. It was developed by Toge Productions of Indonesia together with Chorus Worldwide, which published it in May 2026, and it was praised for its pixel art and music.

Content Warning is a co-op survival horror game for up to four players who ride a diving bell into an abandoned underground realm called the Old World. There they film the monsters they encounter, then head back up to post the footage on the in-game site SpöökTube. Hitting view-count targets keeps the run going, and ad money buys upgrades. Published by Landfall and developed in Sweden, it arrived on Windows on 1 April 2024 as an April Fools' Day release.
Convoy is a roguelike with squad-based tactical combat, drawn in pixel art. Players drive an armoured semi-trailer truck across a desert planet's wastelands, hunting for parts of a downed spaceship, and the story advances through text scenarios where chosen responses can lead into battles. It was made by Convoy Games in the Netherlands and launched in April 2015, partly funded by a Kickstarter that raised over 22,000 euros.
Cookie Clicker is an incremental game created in 2013 by French programmer Julien Thiennot, known as Orteil. You start by clicking a giant cookie, then spend your haul on buildings that bake automatically and upgrades that boost every source of output. Production grows exponentially and the tone gradually drifts toward cosmic horror. There is no traditional ending; instead you can ascend to restart with faster growth, and the game is credited with helping shape idle gaming.
Coral Island is a farming simulation game with life-sim and adventure elements, in which days are spent tending land and taking part in island life. It was developed by Stairway Games, a studio in Indonesia, and built in Unreal Engine 4. The game entered early access on PC in October 2022 and had its full release on PC and consoles on November 14, 2023. It suits players who enjoy relaxed farm and community sims.
Coromon is a monster-taming RPG in which a newly hired researcher at Lux Solis explores the Velua region, catching and battling creatures while seeking out six powerful Titans. Its fights draw on a stamina system, and difficulty can be customised to suit the player. It was developed by TRAGsoft in the Netherlands and published by indie.io, arriving on Windows and macOS in March 2022. Critics have frequently compared it to Pokemon.

Crab Champions is a third-person roguelike looter shooter in which players sweep across exotic islands, pairing fluid movement with quick, aggressive combat. It grew out of Noisestorm's viral track Crab Rave, whose music video, featuring 3D animated crabs dancing, drew millions of views. Developed and published by Noisestorm, based in Ireland, it was announced in April 2019 and entered Steam Early Access on 1 April 2023.
Crab Game is a free multiplayer party game inspired by the Netflix series Squid Game. Players face off across a string of minigames, and the goal is to be the final one still standing. Its creator and publisher is Daniel Sooman, a Norwegian indie developer known online as Dani. The game launched on Steam for Windows in October 2021 after an itch.io release for Linux and macOS, with those versions reaching Steam that November.
Cradle is a first-person science-fiction adventure that explores the theme of transhumanism. Crawl is a local multiplayer brawler set in randomly generated dungeons for up to four players or bots. One player is the hero while the others are spirits who possess traps and monsters, trying to kill the hero so they can take that role themselves. It was made by the Australian developer Powerhoof, first appearing in Steam Early Access in 2014 before its full release in April 2017.
Crayon Physics Deluxe is a puzzle game in which drawn objects obey a two-dimensional physics simulation, reacting to gravity, mass, momentum and kinetic energy. Designed by Petri Purho and released by Kloonigames of Finland in 2009, it grew out of an earlier 2007 Windows version called Crayon Physics. It includes a level editor and an online service for trading custom creations. The Deluxe edition took the grand prize at the 2008 Independent Games Festival.
Creaks is a puzzle-platformer made and self-published by Czech studio Amanita Design. Progress combines platforming with puzzle solving, and its genre listings also class it as a graphic adventure and an art game with a casual pace. Announced in October 2018, it launched through Apple Arcade in July 2020 and arrived on Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later that same month.
Cricket Revolution is a multiplayer sports game devoted to cricket. Alongside offline and LAN modes, it is built around online matches and a community system that records detailed player statistics, plus tournaments against AI opponents. It was developed by Mindstorm Studios in Pakistan, released for Windows in 2009, and is described as the first game from a Pakistani developer to appear on Steam.

Crow Country is a survival horror game set in 1990, in which investigator Mara Forest explores a derelict theme park while searching for its missing owner. Play revolves around exploring the grounds, cracking puzzles and fighting enemies, with a presentation modelled on 1990s PlayStation horror yet with modern aiming, movement and accessibility options. SFB Games of the United Kingdom developed and self-published it in May 2024, and it sold over 100,000 units in six months.
In Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit, a classic point-and-click adventure, players work to unravel a mystery tied to Lithuanian history. As in the classic genre, progress comes from investigating locations and working through the puzzles the story puts in the way. It was developed by Lithuanian studio Tag of Joy and published through Headup, with a release in May 2022 on Windows, Mac and Linux. Released in 2021, Cruelty Squad is a tactical first-person shooter from Finnish independent studio Consumer Softproducts, run by artist Ville Kallio, and built with the Godot engine. Players are a biologically augmented assassin carrying out black operations for a corporate security firm, with stealth elements woven into missions. Its deliberately abrasive, surreal look stands out, and its themes satirise capitalism, corporations and the gig economy.
Crying Is Not Enough is a survival horror game with action-adventure play. Its story follows Jacob Helten, 35, who tries to solve the mystery of his wife vanishing after a gruesome car crash. The game came from two independent developers in Greece, Akis Olsey Mila and Konstantinos Poulis, who worked as Storyline Team and spent five years making it before its 2018 release on Steam. This remastered edition is the version found on the store today.
CryoFall is a multiplayer science-fiction survival game from AtomicTorch Studio, a Singapore-based developer, with its full Steam release arriving in April 2021 through publisher Daedalic Entertainment. Players establish a colony on an abandoned planet far in the future, staying alive while working through technology, farming, trade, industry and cybernetics. Its Steam tags span RPG, simulation and strategy alongside massively multiplayer play.
