CloverPit is a roguelite with a psychological horror edge, in which the player must work down a steadily growing debt by gambling on a slot machine. Each run pushes the stakes higher as repayment becomes harder to meet. It was made by Panik Arcade, a studio from Italy, and published by Future Friends Games, launching on Steam on September 26, 2025. According to its Wikipedia entry, it has since passed one million copies sold.

Daymare: 1998 is a survival horror game played from a third-person perspective. It was developed by Invader Studios of Italy on Unreal Engine 4 and came to Windows on September 17, 2019, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions following in April 2020. Its prequel, Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, followed in 2023. The game holds a Metacritic score of 62.

IMSCARED is an independent horror game in which the player must outsmart two entities, White Face and HER, that reach beyond the game window to tamper with the computer itself, for example by creating files or crashing the program. It was made by Italian solo developer Ivan Zanotti using GameMaker. A tenth-anniversary remake arrived in 2022 with higher resolution, a better frame-rate and new content, and an Android port followed in 2024.

Ravenous Devils is a darkly comic horror cooking simulation set in Victorian London in the 19th century. Players manage a tailor shop and a pub run by Percival and Hildred: he kills his customers and sends the bodies down a trap door, and she turns them into meat dishes for diners upstairs. Its style and story borrow heavily from Sweeney Todd. Bad Vices Games of Italy both developed and published it in Unreal Engine 4, releasing it in April 2022.

Released in 2018, Remothered: Tormented Fathers is a survival horror game conceived, written and directed by Italian artist Chris Darril and developed by Stormind Games in Italy. It pays tribute to the Japanese Clock Tower series. Rosemary Reed comes to the Felton mansion to look into the years-old disappearance of the family's daughter Celeste, and once owner Richard sees through her, a night of pursuit begins. It was generally well reviewed, and a sequel, Broken Porcelain, followed in 2020.

You explore a former psychiatric hospital and follow the story of Renee, a sixteen-year-old sent there in 1938, piecing her experience together through the places she lived. It is a slow, sober game that treats its subject with care.
