What the Car? is a comedy racing game from Triband, a studio based in Denmark, first released on Apple Arcade in 2023 and on Windows in September 2024. Players steer a car to the end of each level, but the way it moves and is controlled keeps changing in surprising ways, with stages parodying many different genres. Conceived as a successor to What the Golf?, it went on to win a 2024 D.I.C.E. honour as the year's top mobile game.

When the Past Was Around is a point-and-click adventure about Eda and her partner, an owl in human form, told through a chain of escape-room puzzles. It uses no dialogue or text, relying on music and hand-drawn art to carry the story and leave it open to interpretation. It was developed by Mojiken Studio in Indonesia and published by Toge Productions in 2020, and it won Best Visual Art at the 2019 SEA Game Awards.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is a survival horror remake of a 2001 Korean game, developed by South Korea's ROI Games, also known as Sonnori, together with Gachyon Soft. Players control a high school transfer student who slips into his school at night to leave a White Day gift for his crush, only to be locked in with supernatural threats. Surviving means hiding from enemies, managing items and solving puzzles before dawn. The PC version arrived in 2017.

Released for Windows in March 2015, Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries plays as a 2D side-scroller with hack-and-slash combat, built on Unreal Engine 3. It was made by GriN Gamestudio, an independent developer from Belgium partly funded through Kickstarter. The studio shut down later in 2015 after weak sales, which ended work on a planned second volume, and Rebellion Developments then acquired the property and took on delivering the backer rewards.

Set in the fictional Japanese town of Shiokawa during the year 198X, World of Horror asks players to explore eerie locations and battle otherworldly creatures to stop an approaching apocalypse. Its 1-bit pixel art was drawn in Microsoft Paint by Polish creator Paweł Koźmiński, whose influences included H. P. Lovecraft and Junji Ito. After an early access period starting in 2020, the full release arrived in October 2023 to generally favourable reviews.

Its soft-body damage model means crashes deform specific parts of a car and change how it handles, and vehicles can be upgraded in depth.
