Hue Sort Daily — Colour Puzzle

Hue Sort Daily gives you one puzzle every day — the same board for every player in the world. A smooth colour gradient has been shuffled. The four corners stay locked as your anchors. Everything between them is yours to put back. Tap one tile, then another, and they swap. **A tile that reaches its own square locks there**, marked with a dot — so every swap answers a question, progress only ever goes forward, and you can never ruin a board you have worked on. The squares are butted edge to edge rather than spaced out, which means a tile in the wrong place shows up as a visible seam in the colour rather than hiding among its neighbours. There is no timer and no way to lose. The only measure is your move count against par — and par here is not a guess. It is the exact mathematical minimum, and locking never puts it out of reach: the optimal line only ever makes swaps that place a tile for good, which is precisely what locking allows. When you finish, you get a small spoiler-free result you can paste anywhere: the day number, the day's four corner colours as emoji, and your score. Come back tomorrow for a new one. Optional numbers can be switched on if you would rather not rely on colour alone.
