2048 — Classic Sliding Tile Puzzle

2048 is the sliding-tile puzzle that took over 2014 and never really left. Every move pushes the whole board in one direction; tiles carrying the same number merge into their sum, and a new tile drops into the space you just opened. The rule is trivial and the game is not. The board fills as fast as you clear it, so reaching 2048 is a question of keeping your largest tile anchored in a corner and never making a move whose consequences you cannot absorb.
