Mount & Blade is a medieval action role-playing game from Turkish company TaleWorlds Entertainment, released in 2008 with Paradox Interactive as publisher. Players create a custom character and fight, trade and manage a fief across the land of Calradia in open-ended sandbox play. It was created by TaleWorlds founders Armagan and Ipek Yavuz, and reviewers highlighted its combat mechanics and large modding community.
