Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is a dark fantasy action RPG dungeon crawler told across three acts. Players roam procedurally generated maps, cutting through monster hordes and gathering valuable loot as one of the Purifiers' soldiers, taking part in an operation striking back at the Brotherhood of Dawn. It was developed and published by Wolcen Studio, listed as based in the United States, built on CryEngine V, and launched on Windows in February 2020.
Abo Khashem is a comedic open-world action RPG set in the City of Torrid. Players fight enemies with an unusual combat system, develop entrepreneurial skills, explore dangerous dungeons and look for hidden treasure. It was released on Steam in February 2018 and was also listed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was developed by Moving Dimensions, a studio from Saudi Arabia.
Crown's Trial is a Souls-like boss rush in which each fight takes place in its own realm, against legendary warriors drawn from eras such as Ancient Rome, feudal Japan and the Crusades. The structure is non-linear, so players choose which opponent to face first, and each duel brings its own loadout and abilities. A voiced, illustrated story ties the encounters together. It is the debut project of Gilded Games, a two-brother studio from Egypt.
Fake Legends is a third-person role-playing game shared as a test build for Android. Its hero is trapped behind a star gate leading to several worlds; the demo covers one of them, alternating between an exploration mode and a combat mode against the soldiers of four giants who guard the gates. The itch.io page says it was produced by an Iraqi team of just two people. It comes from OmegaSoft, led by developer OthmanOmega.
Ironweld is a 2D side-scrolling action RPG in which the player is an action-figure robot sent through a portal into a dying world built on iron. Builds are assembled from frames, parts and moves taken from the same pool enemies use, so fights play out like duels against opponents with similar tools. Between encounters players choose whether to repair, upgrade or push on. A demo is on Steam ahead of launch. It is developed by 2071 Games, an indie studio based in Dubai, UAE.
Knights of Light: The Prologue is an early-access action role-playing game set in the 7th-century Middle East, built around the lead-up to the Battle of al-Qadisiyyah. Players switch between two soldier brothers, one of whom is handed command of the army when its general falls ill. The studio cites The Witcher and Mount & Blade as influences. It is the first release from Rumbling Games Studio, an independent developer based in Giza, Egypt.
Last Hammashan: Awakening of a Hero is a free-to-play, story-driven action game in Early Access. The player enters Hammashan castle to save his village and wakes a war over the power of a civilisation believed to be extinct. Defeating bosses grants their powers and fighting styles, which can be switched mid-combat. It is the work of Alaa Hamash, a solo developer based in Jordan.
Last Loremaster is an action RPG with roguelike elements in which the hero Jahir fights a spreading force called the Unravelling. Combat is built on switching between six elemental lores (fire, water, earth, wind, lightning and nature) and chaining them into combos, in the vein of Hades and Darksiders. Its fantasy world draws on Middle Eastern mythology. The game is the original project of The Bad Nomads, a development and co-development studio based in Cairo, Egypt.
Revenge Crystal is a top-down action RPG that mixes Souls-like combat with interconnected exploration. You are the will driving a fallen knight kept alive by a living crystal, swapping elemental abilities as you uncover ruins and fight bosses across a decaying world. It is developed by SAMx003 Games, which the IsaKaba directory lists as a studio from Saudi Arabia.
Summoner Tale is an action RPG about recruiting monsters through fights, races and trials rather than simple capture. Creatures fall into four classes that change how they fight alongside you, and they grow stronger through battle. The story follows a young summoner uncovering why an old alliance between humans and monsters collapsed into war. It is developed by NEGM World from Egypt and was shown at the Arabic Games Conference 2025.
Cat Quest is a light action RPG from the Singapore studio The Gentlebros, set in an open world full of cats, puns and loot. You explore the map, take on quests and fight with a mix of melee attacks and magic, all at a brisk pace that suits short sessions. It was well received by critics and is an easy RPG to recommend to newcomers.
Children of Morta is a story-driven action RPG with roguelike elements about the Bergson family, the guardians of Mount Morta, who must hold back a spreading evil called the Corruption. Rather than a lone hero, you lead the whole family, each member with their own flaws, strengths and part to play in the story. It was developed by Dead Mage, a studio with roots in Iran.
Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan is a 2D action RPG from Kiro'o Games, a studio headquartered in Yaounde, Cameroon. It pairs real-time combat with RPG progression inside an original fantasy world of its own making. Beyond the game itself, it is worth knowing as a commercial PC release from a Central African indie studio, a region still rarely seen on global storefronts.
