Belgian studio Fishing Cactus launched it in early access in 2015 before the full 2016 release on Windows, macOS and Linux, and it was later followed by the spiritual successor Nanotale.
Faeria is a digital collectible card game fused with turn-based strategy, played out on a shifting game board inside a fantasy world. It was developed by Abrakam in Belgium and arrived on desktop in 2017, with console versions following in 2020. Critics responded well to it, and it holds a favourable aggregate score.

It sits at the meeting point of simulation and strategy, with the focus on planning and keeping a community alive. The game comes from Pajama Llama Games in Belgium, entered early access in September 2019, and reached its full release in December 2025, now under Stray Fawn Publishing after an earlier stint with Kongregate.
Luxuria Superbia is an abstract game in which players stroke and stimulate colourful, flower-like tunnels, using the controls as a metaphor for sexual arousal. Critics valued its unusual concept, design and touch input, while some felt the levels lacked variety or reasons to finish them. Made by Belgian studio Tale of Tales and released in 2013, it received the Independent Games Festival's Nuovo Award, was an IndieCade finalist, and has drawn academic attention.
No Players Online is a short horror game with PS1-inspired visuals, originally made in 2019 for a Haunted PS1 Jam and later expanded into a full release on Steam and Itch.io in November 2025. The original version grew into an alternate reality game with cryptic messages and hidden passcodes, which players cracked together on Discord. It was created by Belgian developers Adam Pype and Tibau Van den Broeck with German sound designer Viktor Kraus, and critics praised its atmosphere and nostalgic tone.
Sunset is a narrative adventure in which players become Angela Burnes, a housekeeper employed in the lavish apartment of the mysterious Gabriel Ortega, in the fictional South American nation of Anchuria. Belgian studio Tale of Tales released it in 2015 on Windows, macOS and Linux, and it was their final commercial game.
The Almost Gone is a puzzle game built around turning and inspecting miniature three-dimensional rooms to piece together the story of Emily, a recently deceased girl, and to expose her family's secrets. Reviewers highlighted its look and its willingness to tackle serious themes, though opinions on the storytelling and some mechanics were split. Belgian independent studio Happy Volcano released it in 2020, and it took Game of the Year at the Flanders DC Belgian Game Awards in 2021.
A psychological horror art game from Belgian studio Tale of Tales, The Path reworks the Little Red Riding Hood tale and broader folklore in a present-day setting. Players pick one of six sisters, each sent by their mother to visit a sick grandmother, and decide whether to keep to the path or stray into woods where wolves wait. It came out for Windows in March 2009 in English and Dutch, using the Quest3D engine, with a Mac OS X port arriving later.
Released for Windows in March 2015, Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries plays as a 2D side-scroller with hack-and-slash combat, built on Unreal Engine 3. It was made by GriN Gamestudio, an independent developer from Belgium partly funded through Kickstarter. The studio shut down later in 2015 after weak sales, which ended work on a planned second volume, and Rebellion Developments then acquired the property and took on delivering the backer rewards.
You Suck at Parking is an action racing game where the goal is to steer a car past obstacles and slide it neatly into a parking spot, level after level. Beyond the solo stages, a multiplayer mode lets up to eight players compete. It was developed by Belgian studio Happy Volcano and released in 2022, with Curve handling publishing, and reviews at launch were broadly average.
