Asylum is an atmospheric horror adventure set inside the Hanwell Mental Institute, a fictional asylum laid out according to the historical Kirkbride plan. Players are free to explore the whole institute as its unsettling story unfolds, with the focus on mood and slow-building dread rather than action. It comes from Senscape, an independent developer in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and authored by Agustin Cordes, and was funded partly through a 2013 Kickstarter before finally releasing in March 2025.
Bunch of Heroes is an action title from Nimble Giant Entertainment, a developer based in Argentina that also self-published it. Little verified detail about its missions or systems is available, though the store page references an optional Horror Pack add-on that was once given away during a seasonal sale.
Darkestville Castle is a comedic point-and-click adventure in which the player takes the role of a sarcastic demon. Progress comes from solving puzzles and tricking the gullible characters around you as you try to restore mischief to the town. Argentine developer Epic Llama Games created it, and ESDigital Games released it in 2017 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Steam lists it simply as an indie adventure.
Dreamcore is a first-person horror game built around getting lost on purpose. Players wander sprawling, non-linear liminal spaces that twist back on themselves, searching every level for the way out with no map or guide to lean on. Its presentation mimics body-camera and found-footage recordings, which gives each corridor an unsettling, grainy feel. MADiSON is a first-person horror game built around a cursed instant camera. Players follow Luca, a teenager who receives the camera for his sixteenth birthday, and use it to work through puzzles while piecing together the dark story behind it. Developed by the Argentine studio Bloodious Games, it began as a 2016 project with an early demo in 2017 and launched in July 2022, drawing praise for its puzzle quality and carefully balanced tension.
Okhlos: Omega is an action game with roguelike structure in which you do not control a lone hero but gather and steer a growing crowd of angry citizens. The mob is set loose against the gods of mythological Greece, with the aim of toppling their oppressive rule. It was made by Coffee Powered Machine, a studio from Argentina, and published by Devolver Digital in August 2016 for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Per Aspera is a city-building simulation about turning Mars into a world humans can live on. You play as AMI, an artificial intelligence tasked with terraforming the red planet so that colonists can eventually settle there, balancing construction and planetary change as a strategy challenge. It was made by the Argentine studio Tlön Industries, published by Raw Fury, and released for Windows in December 2020.
Quantum League is a competitive online first-person shooter from Argentina's Nimble Giant Entertainment, released on Windows in 2021. Matches take place inside a repeating time loop, so each round you fight alongside recordings of your own earlier and later actions.
