GameUp Africa Program: Wide-Scale Training
Maliyo Games’ GameUp Africa program continues to achieve significant milestones in the game development space. Since its launch in 2021, the program has trained over 6,000 aspiring game developers in 40 countries worldwide. The program primarily focuses on game and game design development.
Participant Distribution: Nigeria and Kenya Lead
Data indicates that Nigeria is the largest contributor to the program, accounting for 36% of participants. Kenya follows closely with 28%. In addition, the program is experiencing growth in other countries such as Ivory Coast, Angola, and Rwanda.
