BPM: Bullets Per Minute fuses a first-person shooter with the timing demands of a rhythm game, so shooting, reloading and moving all land best on the beat. Cairn is a climbing simulation adventure from The Game Bakers of France, following mountaineer Aava as she attempts to reach the top of Mount Kami. Every limb is placed by hand, while hunger, thirst and body temperature must be managed alongside weather and a day-night cycle that shift difficulty. On the ascent she meets other climbers and finds traces of earlier expeditions and a vanished civilization. It launched in January 2026.
Call of the Sea is an adventure game with a strong puzzle component, and Steam also tags it as casual. It was developed by Out of the Blue, a studio from Spain, and published by Raw Fury, launching on Windows and Xbox in December 2020 before reaching Amazon Luna and PlayStation in 2021 and Nintendo Switch in 2025. A sequel, Call of the Elder Gods, followed in May 2026.
Carrion flips the usual horror setup: instead of fleeing a creature, you are the tentacled monster, slithering through a research facility and hunting down the humans who stand in your path. Play centres on navigating the complex and ambushing the people inside, an approach its creators label reverse horror. It comes from Polish studio Phobia Game Studio, was published by Devolver Digital in 2020, and runs on the MonoGame framework.
Cassette Beasts is a role-playing game that draws on the Pokemon series, letting players record monsters onto tapes and use a cassette player to turn into those creatures in battle. The story follows the player's attempt to find a way back home. It was created by Bytten Studio in the United Kingdom and published by Raw Fury, launching on PC in April 2023. Critics responded favourably to its depth, and it earned a 2024 BAFTA Games Award nomination.
CastleStorm is a genre mashup that combines tower defense, brawler-style fighting, and 2D physics-driven destruction. Its concept grew from the childhood fun of building toy castles and then smashing them, so defending your own stronghold and wrecking enemy walls go hand in hand. Cat Quest II is an action role-playing game from The Gentlebros, a studio based in Singapore, released in 2019 as a follow-up to the original Cat Quest. Players guide two rulers, a feline monarch and a canine monarch, who team up to win back their thrones from oppressive rule. The fantasy world is full of magic, monsters to fight and loot to gather, and the adventure can be played alone or cooperatively with a friend controlling the second hero.
Cat Quest III is the third entry in The Gentlebros' Cat Quest series, an action role-playing game released in 2024 and published by Kepler Interactive. This time the hero is a feline privateer roaming a 2.5D open world overrun by rat pirates, sailing a ship between islands in search of treasure while a Pirate King gives chase. The Gentlebros are a development studio based in Singapore.
Cave Story+ is an enhanced edition of Cave Story, a Metroidvania in which Quote, a robot with amnesia, explores cave systems to piece together his past and find a way out. Collecting crystals powers up his weapons and opens new areas, alongside platforming puzzles and conversations with the locals. Daisuke Amaya made the original alone in Japan in 2004, and Nicalis brought this version to Steam in November 2011.
Centum is a point-and-click adventure game from Hack The Publisher, a studio in Estonia, published by Serenity Forge. It launched on March 11, 2025 across Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. Play follows the genre's familiar structure of exploring scenes and interacting with them, and the game earned generally favorable reviews along with a Metacritic score of 75.
Chained Echoes is a role-playing game modeled on 1990s Japanese RPGs, pairing turn-based battles with 16-bit style pixel art and a story told through several characters. Its unlikely heroes try to halt a war between three kingdoms. The game was created by Matthias Linda, credited on Steam as Umami Tiger, a developer from Germany, and published by Deck13 in 2022. Citizen Sleeper is a role-playing game from Jump Over the Age, a developer based in the United Kingdom, released in 2022 with publishing handled by Fellow Traveller.
