The Shepherd is a 2D single-player RPG in which a young city dweller heads into the Saudi desert, inspired by an old photo of his grandfather riding a camel. You raise and feed a herd, shear and sell wool, upgrade weapons and defend the flock from predators in turn-based fights driven by a timing bar rather than luck. It was made by Saudi developer MW Hashem.

The Trials 1 is a puzzle exploration game set on an island divided into seven main areas. Players use three abilities: recording a box's movement and playing it back, switching between two parallel worlds, and dropping a teleport station to return to. More than 30 side puzzles award gemstones that unlock new areas. It was the first game from Blue Life, a studio identified as Syrian, which followed it with The Trials 2.

Players sneak into buildings, carry off whatever they can and escape before the police arrive, with the fun coming from coordinating a clumsy team. The house is full of traces of old rituals, and the player explores it, solves logic puzzles and pieces together the family's past before escaping. The Moroccan studio AJB Games Studio released it on Steam in February 2025, and it reached the top five of the African-developed games sales chart in its launch week.

Z's Pinball is a simple 3D pinball table made in Unreal Engine and played with the keyboard. Players use the Ctrl keys for the flippers, charge the plunger with the space bar and can nudge the table up to three times per game. Knocking down lettered drop targets multiplies all points scored, so aiming for them is the key to high scores. It was made by Zainab Al-Ansari, an indie game developer and software engineer from Bahrain.

Zamakan is an endless runner set in an alternate history where ancient Egyptians became a spacefaring civilisation. You pilot an Egyptian-styled ship through an asteroid field, and the twist is a visible space-time grid: heavy objects bend it, so obstacles warp the path around them. The aim is to travel as far as possible without a collision. It is a collaboration between two Egyptian developers, Split-E (Shady El Mously) and Mansoura-based Game Hermits.
