Beholder is an adventure game about life under a totalitarian regime where the state watches everything. Players act as a landlord appointed by the government, planting bugs, sneaking into tenants' flats and deciding whom to report to the authorities, with the moral cost left to the player. It was developed by Warm Lamp Games in Russia, published by Alawar in November 2016, and released for Windows, Mac and Linux.
According to its genre listings, this Snowbird title, Eador: Masters of the Broken World, leans mainly on strategy while mixing in role-playing elements. It is a remake of an earlier title, Eador: Genesis, and available sources say little more about how it plays. The game was made by the Russian company Snowbird Game Studios and released in 2013, and it holds a Metacritic score of 74.
Earn to Die 2 is a driving action game in which players push a vehicle through zombie-filled cities, aiming for checkpoints and the finish line of each level. It follows the original Earn to Die, a flash and mobile title, but trades that game's desert backdrop for urban streets. It was developed by the Russian indie studio Toffee Games and published on Steam by Not Doppler in 2016.
Encased is an isometric role-playing game with turn-based combat, set in a science fiction post-apocalyptic world. Fading Afternoon is a beat 'em up with action, adventure and role-playing elements, released for Windows in September 2023, with a Nintendo Switch version following in 2024. Yeo made it as a third project, following The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa and Arrest of a Stone Buddha, and it shares their themes and visual style. The developer is based in Russia, and IndieArk co-published the release.
Hammerfight is a 2D action game built on physics, created by Russian developer Konstantin Koshutin and released on Windows in 2009 through publishers KranX Productions and 1C. It later reached a wider audience in 2011 as part of the third Humble Indie Bundle, when its underlying Haaf's Game Engine became open source and gained cross-platform support. A version titled Age of Hammer Wars also appeared on PlayStation minis and iOS.
In the stealth horror game Hello Neighbor, players control Nicky Roth as he tries to sneak into the basement next door and uncover what his neighbor, Theodore Peterson, is hiding. The neighbor's AI adapts to earlier attempts, laying bear traps, bucket traps or cameras along routes the player has favoured. Russian studio Dynamic Pixels developed it with Unreal Engine 4, tinyBuild published it in 2017, and it grew into a wider franchise.
HighFleet, also titled HighFleet: Deus in Nobis, is a strategy game with action sequences in which the player commands a fleet of heavy metal airships. The campaign unfolds on Elaat, a dieselpunk post-apocalyptic world, where the goal is to take a rebellious region said to hold a nuclear reactor. It was created by Russian developer Konstantin Koshutin, published by MicroProse in 2021, and spent over ten years in development under the working title Hammerfight 2.
In Iratus: Lord of the Dead, tactical role-playing meets a roguelike structure, drawing on both RPG and strategy traditions. Each person asking for shelter must be questioned to judge whether they are human or a hostile Visitor, with new detection methods revealed daily and several possible endings. Russian studio Trioskaz developed this first-person horror game, released by Critical Reflex in September 2025.
Partisans 1941 is a real-time tactics game about Soviet partisan fighters resisting the German invasion during the Second World War. Players direct a squad through its missions, and its genre listings point to strategy with survival and tactical role-playing elements woven in. It was developed by Alter Games in Russia on Unreal Engine 4 with Daedalic Entertainment handling publishing in 2020.
Viewed from an isometric perspective, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a role-playing game adapted from Paizo's Pathfinder tabletop franchise. Players lead a party into lands overrun by demons, make choices that weigh good against evil and grow into a Mythic Hero with powers beyond ordinary mortals. Please, Don't Touch Anything is a puzzle game with many different solutions to uncover through experimentation. It comes from the Russian indie studio Four Quarters and first launched on Steam in March 2015 for Windows, Mac and Linux. The game was later rebuilt as a 3D remake with virtual reality support, and an enhanced Nintendo Switch port added updated graphics along with even more solutions.
Potion Craft casts players as the keeper of a shop in a medieval fantasy world, brewing potions from alchemical ingredients and selling them on. Its management simulation is built around a crafting system that critics praised as both novel and intuitive. Russian independent developer niceplay games created it, tinyBuild published it in 2022, and it received several nominations at the 2023 Independent Games Festival.

The Tiny Bang Story is a point-and-click adventure built around puzzle solving, with hidden object play among its listed genres. In the following years it was ported to a wide range of platforms, including iOS, Android, Linux, Apple TV and Nintendo Switch.
The Wild Eight is a survival game about a group of people left stranded in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness. Players have to work together to stay alive, and the game combines action and adventure with role-playing and simulation elements. It was developed by Eight Points, a studio from Russia, and published by HypeTrain Digital, with its full Steam release arriving in October 2019.
TurnOn is a single-player platformer starring Turnon, an alien electrical spark trying to bring power back to a city that has suddenly gone dark. It stands out for its distinctive visual style and was built in Unity3D by the Russian team Brainy Studio. A 2014 prototype of the game won the Games category at Microsoft's Imagine Cup, and the full release arrived on June 1, 2016.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is a story-driven isometric role-playing game set in the grim Warhammer 40,000 universe.
