Alpha Kimori 1 opens an episodic trilogy of sprite-based role-playing games drawn in an anime-influenced style. It pairs a story with philosophical ambitions and a mix of science fiction and fantasy with classic turn-based battles in the Japanese RPG tradition. The series is an independent project by Sherman Chin and his Malaysian studio Sherman3D, built with the RPG Maker engine, and this episode came to Windows on Steam in 2014.
