Cartoon Crime is an open-world crime/action sandbox by BuBa Games, a two-person independent studio based in Istanbul, Türkiye. The Windows PC game is available in Steam Early Access, with development ongoing.

Two perspectives, one world

Switch instantly between third-person and classic top-down views while driving, exploring, fighting or escaping the police. Follow story missions or ignore the objective and explore at your own pace.

Make your own trouble

Drive vehicles, get into police pursuits, recruit bodyguards and explore enterable shops and other interiors. Take a break with bowling, billiards and arcade activities. Play solo or explore together in online co-op.

Early Access

The game entered Early Access on August 26, 2026. We continue to work on gameplay, animations, performance and general polish. The current build is a work in progress.

Technology and AI disclosure

Built with our own C++/OpenGL engine. AI tools assist with some pre-generated 2D elements, text editing/localization and development support. We review and edit the results; nothing is generated live during gameplay.
