Alina of the Arena is a roguelite deckbuilder in which players build up a deck of cards and use it to defeat opponents in arena battles. Taiwanese developer PINIX self-published it in 2022 for Windows, Mac and Xbox, and DANGEN Entertainment brought it to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles in 2023. Reviews at launch were generally favourable, and on Steam it sits under strategy, reflecting its tactical card-driven fights.

A point-and-click adventure, Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is one Wikidata also classifies as an escape-room style game, suggesting a focus on puzzle-solving. Taiwanese developer Silver Lining Studio created it, with Akupara Games and Akatsuki Taiwan co-publishing. It launched in August 2021 on Windows, macOS and mobile, later reaching Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and it holds a Metacritic score of 73.

Fight of Gods is a one-on-one fighting game whose roster is drawn from the deities and legendary figures of world religions and mythologies. Matches follow the familiar versus format, pitting these divine characters against each other. It was made by Digital Crafter, an independent developer from Taiwan. Its religious subject matter led to bans in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, and briefly caused Steam access in Malaysia to be blocked for a day.

Focused on story and exploration, OPUS: Rocket of Whispers is a two-dimensional adventure set in a far future ravaged by plague. A witch teams up with a rocket builder's son to build and launch a rocket that will give the dead a burial in space. Taiwanese independent studio SIGONO made it as the second Opus game, releasing it on mobile in 2017 and on Steam for Windows and macOS in February 2018.

OPUS: The Day We Found Earth is a narrative adventure that puts exploration and storytelling ahead of challenge or combat. The experience is built around discovering its story at the player's own pace. It comes from SIGONO, an independent studio in Taiwan once called Team Signal, and debuted on mobile in 2015 before reaching Windows and Mac through Steam in 2016. It earned a Best Meaningful Play nomination at the International Mobile Gaming Awards and later received two sequels.

TEVI is a side-scrolling action-adventure classed as a Metroidvania, following a rabbit-eared girl named Tevi on a quest for Astral Gears, mana-storing devices her father is obsessed with. It was developed and published by CreSpirit, a studio from Taiwan, with GemaYue and Ein Lee also credited. After a demo in early 2023, the game launched on 29 November 2023 for Windows and Nintendo Switch, with Xbox and PlayStation versions arriving in 2024.

Its central idea is that you rearrange the map itself, moving and rotating pieces of the world to open new paths and solve problems. A calm, friendly game with a genuinely original core mechanic.

Rabi-Ribi is a side-scrolling action game from the Taiwanese developer CreSpirit that mixes exploration with bullet-hell boss battles. You explore an island, collect power-ups and uncover secrets, fighting with a hammer while a fairy companion casts spells from range. It was crowdfunded, and despite reaching only half of its goal it still shipped and found a devoted audience.
