Beyond Solar is a pixel-art bullet hell shooter in Early Access on Steam that pairs a retro arcade look with modern progression systems. Players pilot through waves of enemy fire, relying on precise movement and quick decisions to survive increasingly dense attack patterns. Its science-fiction setting draws on themes from the region, an angle rarely seen in the genre. It is the debut title of COREGAME Studios, an independent developer based in Doha, Qatar.
Clock Mayhem is an action platformer built around timed levels. Each stage has to be cleared against the clock, so players must combine tight movement with character skills and special abilities to reach the goal under pressure. The game has a Steam page and is listed for release in 2027. It is developed by Space Crescent, an independent game development studio with its office on Suhaim bin Hamad Street in Doha, Qatar.
Khawi is a mobile action runner that ties progress to real-world walking: steps counted by the phone become the energy needed to play. In each run the player leads a soldier up a vertical road, choosing which numbered barrels can be shot through in time while fighting enemy waves and growing a squad through boosting gates. Its ten levels are modelled on Qatar landmarks such as Souq Waqif and The Pearl. It was developed by COREGAME Studios, a Media City Qatar licensed studio in Doha.
Nightscape is a 2.5D atmospheric adventure inspired by Arabian astronomy. Players follow Layla, a young girl travelling with a goat companion through an ancient Arabian land where the stars have fallen to earth, using stellar powers to explore and to fight dark creatures while searching for her missing father. A demo is available on Steam and the full game has not yet been released. It is developed by Mezan Studios, a team that has worked on the game in Doha, Qatar since 2021.
Project Athanor mixes factory automation with card building and arena survival. Players set up automated production lines that create and upgrade elemental cards, assemble a six-card deck from the results, then take it into survivor-style arenas where temporary power-ups help them last through escalating waves. The game has a Steam page with no release date announced yet. It is being made by COREGAME Studios, an independent game studio based in Qatar.
PSL - Pro Soccer Legends is a mobile football game that combines arcade-style matches with squad management. Players collect and train footballers, pick tactics, use special skills during games, and compete in real-time PvP modes to climb leaderboards. It was first revealed as Project Soccer Legends at Web Summit Qatar with Invest Qatar's support and was designed with players in the MENA region in mind. The developer and publisher, Digital Dunes, is based in Media City Qatar in Doha.
